Let me introduce you to Me

   First off let me say that I hate those "Keep Calm" things; they're everywhere and need to disappear back into the vault of useless and overplayed annoyances of the world, along with "YOLO" and that ridiculously awful "Friday" noise..er..song. However, it did seem fitting in this case.

Hello, my name is Casey, and I am, indeed, pretty awesome.

{You probably could call me biased, because I am, actually, on many subjects. But truthfully, the level of awesomeness emanating from me would be hard to dispute. }

   This blog has been brought to you by the boredom of a stay at home mom, who does not really enjoy being a stay at home mom. Now before the frying pans come flying, let me make it clear that I love being able to be there for my children. It is a choice that I made after spending a considerate amount of time away from my oldest during his toddler years, and realized that I was missing out on him. And again, while we're ducking frying pans, please know that I do not judge any parent for working, staying at home, having a full time nanny, or hula hooping down Main St. This is what was best for me and my family, and that's the end of that.

  Now, back to what I was originally saying..ah yes, I'm bored. Sure my kids keep me busy, there's the housework, the flashbacks to the 50s, etc...but there's also a good amount of downtime. I do enjoy relaxing, but I hate my down time. I don't really mesh well with your average stay at home mom, which I will delve into at a later time, so that leaves my social entertainment lacking. And while my husband is a wonderful audience to my rantings and ravings, I thought it was just downright wrong of me to deprive the world of my intellectual and, if I do say so, quite humorous spiels.

  So, here it is. Some of you will find me not worthy of another glance, some of you will hate me, some of you will love me, and some of you may feel the need to punch me in the face and hug me at the same time, and that's completely understandable. As long some of you find some humor, relation, or even just a small reprieve from the tediousness that is your life, then I will have done what I've set out to do. Now, as the saying redundantly says..you may carry on.
